I’m 54-years old, post-menopausal and still building muscle. I'm not going to show you a shredded photo and tell you it was easy. Because it wasn't. And the way I got here looks nothing like what most fitness accounts are selling you.
I've been in the fitness industry for over 30 years. From personal trainer to running national PT companies, I know the scene. And I know the science. I've done the certifications and specialized programs and I've worked with hundreds of women. But the thing that changed everything the most for me wasn't a new program or protocol.
It was going through peri-menopause myself and realizing that everything I knew about my own body needed to be recalibrated.
The weight that was never a problem, started showing up out of nowhere. The workouts that used to energize me started draining me. My sleep went sideways and my joints were taking huge hits. And I remember thinking, "If I'm struggling with this and I do this for a living, what is every other woman in her 40s supposed to do?"

I'm not a fit-fluencer. I don't post transformation photos of myself that leave out the hard parts. I'm a functional nutritionist and strength coach who specializes in women 40 and over, and I've built this program around the way our bodies actually work right now. Not the way they worked at 30.
